CROSSROADS 2010

So this year BLACKBOX'S CROSSROADS was in downtown, It was cool lots of companies made it down. And lots of skaters came out to check it out. But I could only walk around and check out the booths so many times before you get over it. Got few pics. And more to come. If you were there hope you liked it, see you again in Aug.

Its ASR and CROSSRADS time again..

So, ASR and Jamie Thomas's CROSSROADS is back, this time not at the blackbox wharehouse. It looks like it will be at PETCO park in downtown san diego very close to ASR. of course im stoked on that cause now all i have to do is skate there instead of driving or having to find a ride. What i gather is that this will be good for all the business (which you as skateboarders dont really know about) all the shop owners who have to go to ASR dont have to drive all the way to blackbox on oceanside, And now as skateboarders checking out the crossroads dont have to be stuck in the middle of Oceanside/vista. So its a win win, also on the down side i feel there will be many more Kooks and annoying groms. Well I will see you therechecking out all the new shit see some old friends and have a good time. check later for some pics of my adventure.

2009 HIGHLIGHTS!!!!

Its a new year so lets have a refresh of 2009.
First off..

BEST/WORST TREND: FLANNELS
I dont know how it happend, but something so good got ruined. I still got a few that I wear but oh my god, Flannels are fucking everywere every store and not just in skateboarding, Its like the new thing, A must have for upcoming skateboard kids.

MOST UNDERRATED VIDEO PART: RODRIGO TX
Rodrigo's part in EXTREMELY SORRY was amazing. dude kills it. When the video came out people only talked about how sick Apples part was, Rowley, burnqusit, gonzales..etc but Rodrigos part was what standed out.


BEST INDEPENDENT VIDEO: RICH MAHAGONY
Super good NEWYORK video starring DAN FORKIN, YAJE POPSON (who I think will start to blow up in 2010) BRETT LAND, BILLY ROHAN, LURKER LOU, lots of other east coast heads.

BEST VIDEO: ALIENWORKSHOP MINEFIELD.
I dont think I have to explain this one. highly anticipated and did not disapoint.
The only parts that sucked and did not live up to expectation was DYRDEK and BERRA.

Thats all I can think of thats on my mind at the moment.
